Jaime Ricardo Ramos Kelly, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a Tijuana, Mexico weight loss surgeon providing surgical care to patients from Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Born in Michigan, Dr. Kelly has his trainings both in US and Mexico and is fluent in both languages. He served in the U.S. military before aiming to be a bariatric surgeon. Dr. Ramos Kelly has been featured internationally and is one of the most experienced weight loss surgeons in Mexico, having performed well over 6,500 bariatric surgeries. Since 1993, Dr. Ramos Kelly has dedicated his career to bariatrics with a deep understanding of weight loss surgery. With memberships in the American Society for Bariatric Surgery, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).

Dr. Ramos Kelly is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons “F.A.C.S.,” a prestigious College that ensures “rigorous evaluation, surgical competence, ethical conduct and training.” Dr. Kelly received training at the Los Angeles County Hospital (affiliated with the University of Southern California), and also Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Dr. Kelly is a regular attendee of the ASMBS (American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons) Meetings.
