Garlic Basil Carrot Fries
- 4 ounces’ carrot sticks
- 2 TBSP coconut oil
- 1 TBSP garlic
- 1 TBSP Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 TBSP basil
- Salt & Pepper to Taste

All I have to say is, “Oh My Goodness”; I had no idea carrots could taste so yummy! This is the perfect explosion of flavors to top off a chicken or turkey dinner. The sweetness that comes out from baking the carrots combined with the tangy taste of the balsamic vinegar is a perfect. Topped with garlic and basil and you for sure have a winner for a appetizing vegetable dish! Take two tablespoons of coconut oil and melt completely. Add in garlic, basil, and balsamic vinegar and mix well in a medium bowl. Once well mixed, coat carrots with mixture completely.
Place carrots and baking sheet and bake at 425 degrees F. for 15 minutes or until crunchy.
Remember. Ideally, a bariatric meal plan is three to four ounces of protein, one-ounce healthy fat with two ounces’ fruits, vegetables or carbohydrates. This recipe provides the healthy fat and the veggies. 🙂
